Recursive Splitting Types
Instead of keeping track of all splitting types (see list below) we can define them recursively using the masses to parameterize the clustering history.
eg:
- bb: is g->bb with mA ~ mB ≈ m1
- bj: b->bj with mA ~ mB ≈ m1
- jj: j -> jj with mA ~ mB ≈ m1
- (bj)b: is really g->bb with mA ≈ m2 / mB ~ m1
Actually not sure if this buys much in the end…)
- eg how much do z/theta/phi depend on mA ?
Better idea is to Group Splittings Based on Multiplicity
